Io IP offers the latest SMPTE ST 2110 support as well as SMPTE 2022-6/7 uncompressed IP video standards with redundant signal reliability.
New Apple M1 Chip Support
Desktop Software v16.1 and above is optimized for the new Apple M1 chip with native support for AJA macOS drivers, application plug-ins, AJA Control Room, AJA Control Panel, AJA System Test and AJA NMOS software.
Standards Matter, Move Forward Together
Io IP supports SMPTE ST 2110 and SMPTE 2022-6/7 while Io IP's extensible architecture ensures that as time moves on, you will be able to adapt and move safely ahead as Io IP offers firmware update capabilities common to all Io devices.
With Desktop Software v16, Io IP offers extended SMPTE ST 2110 support with the addition of ST 2110-40 for ANC data; for transmittal and reception of timecode, closed captioning and more.
ST 2110-23 also supports combining multiple ST 2110-20 streams into a single video essence for 4K/UltraHD.

Broadcasters and facilities are able to synchronize production of audio, video and ancillary data elements, eliminating the need for embedding/disembedding to/from SDI while also reducing latency.
AJA NMOS Application
AJA NMOS is an optional component within the AJA Desktop Software installer. When running, it enables NMOS based discovery, registration and control within software defined video networking environments, and resides in the system tray of your OS. Right clicking on the application provides access to log and status information and provides an option to exit if required.
The latest Desktop Software v16 updates NMOS support to 1.3, providing the widest possible feature set and collaboration with NMOS control systems. Additionally LLDP (Link Layer Discovery Protocol) support provides for better NMOS compatibility and improved debugging abilities.

Io IP provides two Thunderbolt 3 ports for true Thunderbolt flexibility.
Thunderbolt 3 doubles the speed of the previous Thunderbolt 2 standard with up to 40 Gps of throughput and utilizes the universal USB-C connection standard for true simplicity over a single cable and port for today's leading Mac and PC workstations and laptops, ideal for Video and Audio I/O as provided by the Io IP.

Flexible Monitoring

Io IP also includes a Downstream Keyer with support for graphics with alpha channel over video, matte or framebuffer, or framebuffer content over incoming video or matte, perfect for the needs of live IP delivery.
